You can scan the barcode or QR code of many types of data into any cell you choose in the system using an optical reader. You can also scan certain types of data into the Scan tool which which will present to you the most common actions that could be taken based on the scanned information. Use any optical barcode or QR code reader (or scanner) including tablets and smartphones to read printed barcodes / QR codes, decode the data contained in the barcode and send the data to a computer.
